Getting to Deep Creek Lake is easy. The following directions use the Deep Creek Lake Bridge as a reference point. Most local businesses can give you directions from the bridge.
From the Washington DC Area
Take I-270 North, then I-70 West, then I-68 West to Exit 14A at Keyser's Ridge and Route 219 (Garrett Highway) South. Follow Route 219 South to the Deep Creek Lake Bridge.
From the Pittsburgh Area
From the (East Side) take PA Turnpike East. Take New Stanton Exit to Route 119 South to Route 40 East to Route 219 (Garrett Highway) South for 15 miles until you come to the Deep Creek Lake Bridge.
From the (West Side) take I-79 South to Morgantown. Follow I-68 to Friendsville, Route 42 South to Route 219 (Garrett Highway) South continue about 4 miles until you come to the Deep Creek Lake Bridge.
From the Ohio, Wheeling WV Areas
Pick up I-79 South to I-68 at Morgantown. Follow I-68 to Friendsville, Route 42 South to Route 219 (Garrett Highway) South continue until you come to the Deep Creek Lake Bridge.
From the Philadelphia Area
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike West (I-76) to Harrisburg. Take I-81 South to Hagerstown, MD and pick up I-70 West, then I-68 West to Exit 14A at Keyser's Ridge and Route 219 (Garrett Highway) South. Follow Route 219 South to the Deep Creek Lake Bridge.
